Security & Governance

Enterprise AI, governed by design.

Security, policy enforcement and auditability are built into every layer of the AgenticOps control plane, from the first model call to the last audit log.

The problem

AI adoption has outpaced AI governance.

Enterprises can prototype AI agents in days. Governing them in production is the hard part. API keys sprawl across teams. Spend is invisible. Policy is unenforceable. And agents don't behave like traditional software: they reason, call tools, spawn sub-agents and reach external models across trust boundaries.

Traditional API gateways were built for HTTP. Traditional DevOps was built for deterministic code. Neither was built for tokens, prompts, models and autonomous agents. The result is security exposure, runaway cost, and no auditable record of what your AI actually did.

The control plane

Security only counts if it can't be bypassed.

Identity checks, guardrails, budgets and audit logs are only as strong as your ability to enforce them on every request. MajorDomo puts a single control plane in the path of every AI interaction: the one place where identity is verified, policy fires, safety scans run, budgets are enforced and telemetry is captured. Automatically, on every call, with nothing to bypass.

The Director: central governanceEnforces enterprise policy, budgets and governance across the whole organization. One policy engine, one source of truth.
The Workers: local execution and sovereigntyRun locally per team, per region or inside an isolated environment, so you get central control and local data sovereignty at the same time.

A collection of security tools still leaves traffic free to route around them. Converged at the control plane, every control is automatic, enforced and auditable: one path, one policy engine, one record of truth.

At a glance

Security and governance, by capability.

Eight pillars span the full AI lifecycle. The AI Gateway is the enforcement plane; AgenticOps is the operational layer around it.

"Inherits" means the capability is delivered through the AI Gateway and applies to AgenticOps workloads automatically. A dash means the capability lives in the other layer, not that it is missing.

In depth

The eight pillars.

01

Identity & Access Control

Every agent, user and workload authenticates before it can touch a model. SSO and RBAC integrate with your identity provider. Agents carry their own identity and credentials, isolated from one another with no shared keys. Provider keys are masked, centrally rotated and revocable without disrupting consumers.

Protects against Unauthorized model access from sprawled, shared or leaked API keys

02

Policy & Model Governance

Define which models each team, project or workload may use, and enforce it in the path of every call. Approved catalogs, allow and deny lists, policy-based routing and automatic fallbacks keep usage inside the lines while you stay model-agnostic. Agents are registered and granted only the tools they are authorized to use.

Protects against Ungoverned model use and provider lock-in

03

Cost & Resource Governance

See token usage and spend across every team, agent and model in real time. Hard budgets, quotas and rate limits are enforced at the control plane before a request reaches a model. Routing sends each request to the most economical model that clears the bar.

Protects against Cost-overrun attacks and runaway spend from traffic surges

04

Content Safety & Guardrails

Every prompt is inspected before it reaches a model, and every response before it returns. Prompt-injection and jailbreak attempts are blocked, PII and PHI redacted, and content policy enforced inline on the request path.

Protects against Prompt injection, jailbreaks and PII/PHI leakage

05

Model & Agent Assurance

Test agents and models the way an attacker would, before they reach production. Adversarial evaluations probe for vulnerabilities, confirm that guardrails hold and quantify risk, so you ship with evidence.

Protects against Model extraction, data poisoning and guardrail bypass

06

Observability & Audit

Every interaction produces a full trace: identity, prompt, routing decision, tool calls, latency, tokens and cost. Behaviour metrics surface drift and anomalies early, and immutable audit logs give end-to-end traceability for every AI decision.

Protects against Silent model degradation and failed compliance audits

07

DevSecOps & Secure CI/CD

Security shifts left into the pipeline. Automated SAST/DAST and dependency scanning, container and image vulnerability scanning, and approval gates with secure artifact promotion ensure only tested, trusted code and models reach production.

Protects against Vulnerable artifacts and untrusted code reaching production

08

Deployment Security & Data Sovereignty

Run MajorDomo wherever your data and compliance requirements demand. Federated architecture with data-residency controls supports your own VPC or data centre, fully air-gapped environments and regional model routing, so sensitive data stays where it belongs.

Protects against Data-residency and sovereignty exposure

Across the platform

Two layers, one enforced system.

Enforcement plane

AI Gateway

Every model, agent and tool interaction passes through the gateway, where identity, policy, safety, cost and telemetry controls apply in real time. It is the single point that makes governance impossible to bypass.

Operational layer

AgenticOps

The control plane around the gateway: agent lifecycle, secure CI/CD, evals and infrastructure operations, turning the pillars from a list of features into one enforced system.

Your environment

Your environment. Your data. Your control.

Where software runs decides what stays within your control. Deployed inside your perimeter, MajorDomo keeps your data and your agents within the boundary your requirements define.

Why this matters for Operational Intelligence

Operational Intelligence carries its own governance wherever it runs: every unit of knowledge has an owner, a version and an approval, kept in your own Git. With AgenticOps, those decisions are also enforced at the point of action, on every request, with nothing to bypass.
